VOLUNTEER VACANCY

Do you live in the north of the Netherlands? Do you also have an affinity with football and experience in youth scouting? Then we are looking for you!

What will you be doing?
As a Volunteer Youth Scout you represent sc Heerenveen. You have a crucial role in identifying children with footballing potential for the Pre-Academy (Vooropleiding, VO) and the Lower Age Groups (Onderbouw, OB). You do this in a challenging environment in which the development of the individual team player is central. You work closely with the Regional Youth Scouting Coordinator and will of course be in contact with fellow scouts. Within the agreements made, you are able to work independently.

You have knowledge and experience in the area of talent identification. You have a network in the region. A passion for football and for working with people is a plus. In this role you work in a structured way, you are proactive and you take the lead. You are responsible for talent identification in a specific area. You have a sense of responsibility and strong communication skills. The role requires flexibility in working hours.

Age categories

• Main focus: Pre-Academy (U9/U10) and Lower Age Groups (U11/U12)
• Secondary focus: Middle Age Groups (U13 to U15)

Start

• By arrangement.

FTE

• This is a volunteer role in which you are available for at least 8 hours
• Fixed days: Saturday (morning and afternoon)
• Flexible days: additional activities (midweek matches, KNVB/JPN, tournaments etc.)

Main tasks (in your designated region)

• Recognising and identifying players with footballing potential
• Writing/reporting high-quality scouting reports (rating + advice)
• Building relationships and maintaining contact with amateur clubs
• Building a frame of reference / gaining knowledge of the current sc Heerenveen youth teams
• Attending Pre-Academy (VO) training activities (Wednesday afternoon)
• Attending (regional) scouting meetings and relevant (training) sessions

Background

VRIJWILLIGERSVACATURE

Ben jij woonachtig in Noord-Nederland? Heb je daarnaast affiniteit met voetbal en ervaring met jeugdscouting? Dan zoeken we jou!

Wat ga je doen?
Als Vrijwillige Jeugdscout representeer je de club sc Heerenveen. Je hebt een cruciale rol in het in kaart brengen van kinderen met voetbalpotentie voor de Vooropleiding (VO) en Onderbouw (OB). Dit doe je in een uitdagende omgeving waarin de ontwikkeling van de individuele teamspeler centraal staat. Je werkt nauw samen met de Coördinator Regionale Jeugdscouting en zal je uiteraard contact hebben met collega scouts. Binnen de gemaakte afspraken ben je in staat zelfstandig te werken.

Je hebt kennis en ervaring op het gebied van talentherkenning. Je beschikt over een netwerk in de regio. Passie voor voetbal en werken met mensen is een pre. In deze functie ga je gestructureerd te werk, ben je pro-actie en neem je de leiding. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor talentherkenning in een specifiek gebied. Je hebt verantwoordelijkheidsbesef en bent communicatief vaardig. De functie vraagt flexibiliteit in werktijden.

Leeftijdscategorieën

• Hoofdfocus; Vooropleiding (O9/O10) en Onderbouw (O11/O12)
• Subfocus; Middenbouw (O13 t/m O15)

Fte

• Dit betreft een vrijwilligersfunctie waarbij je minimaal 8 uur inzetbaar bent
• Vaste dagen; zaterdag (in de ochtend en de middag)
• Flexibele dagen; aanvullende activiteiten (doordeweekse wedstrijden, KNVB/JPN, toernooien etc.)

Hoofdtaken (in jouw aangewezen regio)

• Herkennen en identificeren van spelers met voetbalpotentie
• Schrijven/rapporteren kwalitatieve scoutingsrapporten (rating + advies)
• Relatie opbouwen en contact onderhouden met amateurclubs
• Referentiekader opbouwen / kennis opdoen van de huidige sc Heerenveen jeugdteams
• Bijwonen Vooropleiding (VO) trainingsactiviteiten (woensdagmiddag)
• Bijwonen (regio)scoutingsvergaderingen en relevante (scholing)bijeenkomsten

Achtergrond

• Woonachtig in Noord-Nederland
• Affiniteit met voetbal
• Ervaring met (jeugd)scouting
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal en in staat om kwalitatief goede scoutingsrapporten te schrijven middels ons rapportagesysteem (SoccerLab)
• Je kunt goed samenwerken
• Je bent een ambassadeur van sc Heerenveen en draagt bij aan een positief imago van de club
• Je bent flexibel en je kunt je aanpassen in een organisatie die zich continue wil verbeteren
