About this board
What it is
Football Hired lists live football jobs in five areas only: scouting, recruitment analysis, performance analysis, data and engineering, and client-facing roles at football data companies, where the work is with club recruitment and analysis staff. Coaching, sports science, commercial roles at clubs and everything else are well served elsewhere and are left out on purpose.
Where the listings come from
Every role is read automatically from the employer's own careers system, using the job feed that system publishes for exactly this purpose. Nothing is typed in by hand and nothing is copied from another job board. When an employer closes a role, it leaves their feed and it leaves this page on the next check, so nothing here is stale.
Every listing links straight to the employer's posting. We do not host descriptions, take applications, or sit between you and the club.

Only employers whose careers system publishes an open feed, and only after each one has been checked by hand. Boards that block automated access are left alone.

Most clubs run bespoke careers pages that need a reader written for them one at a time. Coverage grows club by club, prioritised by where the roles actually are.
Why it is small
Most boards bury fifteen coaching and catering roles for every analysis job. This one carries only the three areas above, filtered by title, so a quiet week is information rather than a failure. Roughly one posting in thirty from the sources we read is relevant. That is the market, and an empty page says so honestly.
The other honest thing to say is that many of the roles that matter are never advertised at all. They go through people who already know each other. The Recruitment Room exists for that part, and this board exists for the part that is public.
How roles are sorted
Newest first. Each role is dated from the employer's own posting date, or from the day we first saw it where the employer does not state one. Every posting is also filed into a lane from its title and given a confidence level from whether football or sport is named anywhere in the posting. Sorting by best match puts roles where football is named at the top and a generic data role at a sports company at the bottom. The rules are simple and they will occasionally be wrong, in which case a role is missing rather than an irrelevant one included.
