About the role
Royal Antwerp FC is looking for a versatile screener/scout to strengthen the scouting department. You combine sharp footballing insight with a data-driven way of working, and you are willing to assess players both on video and live on site. Travel to other continents is not unusual.
You will join a team in which data, scouting and recruitment work closely together to bring the right players to the club.
Duties
- Live scouting of matches, including abroad, with the willingness to travel that this involves.
- Analysis and video scouting of players.
- Active contribution to the screening process: from identifying profiles to targeted recommendations.
- Use of data to support player identification and evaluation.
- Drawing up well-founded scouting reports and explaining findings to the scouting department.
Profile
- - You preferably have an affinity with and a background in data (data analysis, statistics or related training/experience), and can translate this into usable insights within the screening process.
- You are open to working both through video and through live scouting, with a willingness to travel to other continents.
- Experience in scouting or a related role is a plus, but not a requirement — we are just as much looking for talent and potential.
- Knowledge of several languages is an asset, certainly with a view to trips abroad.
- You have a clear vision of football, are analytically strong and can also put that vision across convincingly.
- You work independently, are flexible in terms of scheduling and feel comfortable in an international setting.

Takenpakket

- Je staat ervoor open om zowel via video als via live scouting te werken, met reisbereidheid naar andere continenten.
- Ervaring in scouting of een gerelateerde functie is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste — we zijn evenzeer op zoek naar talent en potentieel.
- Kennis van meerdere talen is een troef, zeker met het oog op buitenlandse verplaatsingen.
- Je hebt een uitgesproken visie op voetbal, bent analytisch sterk en kan die visie ook overtuigend verwoorden.
- Je werkt zelfstandig, bent flexibel qua planning en voelt je comfortabel in een internationale context.
